Акция компании, приносящая ее владельцу фиксированный процент дохода, а не подверженные колебаниям дивиденды. Привилегированная акция представляет собой промежуточную форму ценной бумаги между обыкновенной акцией (ordinary share) и облигацией акционерной компании (debenture).
